The 365 Bond waterfront esplanade park is a transformative initiative that will forge the future of waterfront park space on a clean and vital Gowanus Canal.
As the first of many parks and green spaces planned along the Gowanus Canal, it promises to be a social and recreational focal point enjoyed by both 365 Bond residents as well as the entire community.
The dynamic waterfront park at 365 Bond is more than a pretty place to kick back and relax: it’s a pioneer among parks. Open green space, a long esplanade, public seating, fishing, and a boat dock provide access to the canal, allowing exploration of the neighborhood in a whole new way.
Designed by Weintraub Diaz Landscape Architects, this waterfront park incorporates native plants and marshland vegetation. The park at 365 Bond is the living center of the new canal ecosystem and the Gowanus community.
